The Fayh Bahrna (Good Friend) Society met for the first time at Ruby Tuesday's Restaurant in the Merritt Square Mall at 1130.
Present was Dick, Ed, Elliott, and Carl.
Dick arrived at Carl's QTH shortly before eleven, just as Carl finished calling Ed, and inviting him at the last minute. Ed was surprised, and jumped on the invitation.

Fayh Bahrna Greeting Initiated

With all members arriving in front of Ruby Tuesday's just about on time at 1130, the official Fayh Bahrna greeting was initiated, Carl demonstrating  the proper bow, and phonetics. All members followed through, and then, not having seen each other in some time, shook hands in the tradional Western fashion, and entered the joint...Carl holding the door.

Third Attempt Successful
At first we were ushered to a booth, but finding that confining, we requested a regular table, but there it was discovered a rapid exit could not be executed if needed...the "rapid exit" requirement never fully explained, so a third table was requested, which seemed to satisfy all contingencies.

Finally Settled

Our waitress - Colleen, seeing us finally content, issued each of us a giant menu, the size of which  had us laughing, and hiding from each other. We eventually did get our orders in, and stressing to our waitress to bring the martinis first...Carl's martinis...that is.
Needless to say, the conversation was non-stop, mostly about things in the past...old sea-stories. Of course, when we brought the waitress - Colleen into the conversations, thanks to Ed, the old sea-stories ended.
Camera Time

Then the camera came out...Dick's camera - his trusty Kodak-260, and we took some photos to preserve the moment.

Revival Talk

Mention was made of reviving the MMMM, meeting somewhere in Cocoa that Ed knew of that was nice, had bar, and was reasonable.
Consensus was that it was worth looking into, and Ed was, without ceremony, appointed "The Man In Complete Charge".
It was also mentioned that he should establish himself back into the loop, and was queried whether he was still online, to which he answered, saying he was.
Carl volunteered to try, and see if Ed would respond to email...it all hangs on this at the moment.

Adjournment

With the bill paid, and goodbyes made to our excellent, and cheerful waitress, the gang mustered out front of the restaurant for last minute goodbyes, and especially to Elliott who is leaving for Oregon within the week.
The time noted was 1330.
