Above is a view to the West out the window of the computer/Ham Radio Room. Note Dork, the Stork resting in the grass while keeping a watchful eye on those pesky plastic flamingoes. In the distance are what is known locally as the "Thousand Islands", even though there cannot be more that 10 or 15 of them! This photo was taken January 3d, 2001.

The Ixora, the most common flower in Panama, is also very popular in Florida. They come in various colors and are very hardy. Our Ixora shrub is kept trimmed to about 7 feet in height and is located just to the East of the patio (better known as a lanai in these environs)

We just could not resist the temptation to depict this unfortunate feline. He has obviously been subjected to the one experience with which they just cannot possibly contend. The poor pussy has been subjected to a bath; in WATER, no less! Yes, and here is another obvious disaster:
