Florida swans - White Pelicans hove to just off shore from my place. Gray Pelicans in the foreground protect the eastern flank of our winter visitors.

Here is a Robin standing on a piling. I know it's a Robin 'cause it has feathers. If you don't agree with me, you can tell me so in an email by clicking on Great Granpa , and telling me what you think it is.
It could be a Crow ya know.

The "Sniffer"
Nominated for the Gold Pot Award of 1999

This photo had to be kept large so as to accomodate the "Sniffer's" snozzola. Note the officious approach; mouth closed, eye protection in place, and dome covered; there may be bees around. This is my classic sniffing posture around bougainvillea.

As a timely tip to our Naturalist friends, we suggest that, when hunting, one should always maintain a constant vigilance.
