Above is my
audience of "Ganoers". Quite regularly, these nature lovers heave-to off my
dock to watch the varied wild-life that congregate at the place. Of course
the main attraction is ME, as I perform various chores, while admiring
our feathered friends. I have been thinking of setting up a refreshment
stand on the dock, but I don't think that would set too well with the wife,
what with the price of booze and pretzels these days.

These two great egrets arrive too late for the hot dog picnic. They will hang around until convinced that lizards taste better anyway.
Here I am inspecting the
fruit on my grapefruit tree. Note the head protection isn't necessary as there
weren't any bees around. I should however, at least be wearing a hard-hat in
case a large grapefruit were to fall. I'm smiling because son, Rick, told me to...he's the photographer.
Shortly after Ruth installed the two plastic flamingoes on the property, Dork the Stork and Big Foot the Heron arrived to check out the territory and, no doubt, to ascertain the prevailing situation as it pertains to squatter's rights. Getting no response from the newcomers, our good friends decided to rest their case and revert to needling each other.
These pictures are taken with my
Kodak DC260 digital
camera.
