We offer another shot of a hibiscus. This is an unusually colorful, bright, and beautiful specimen.

After providing two sunset shots in these Nature pages, it is considered more than appropriate to display a typical sunrise over the Atlantic in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Ever changing cloud cover, lighting, shadows, colors, and reflections make pictures such as this a beautiful sight to behold. This picture was taken looking East at about 6:30 AM, August 22, 2000.
Now, here is bright young fellow about to get his feet wet. Looks like he is again registering a neat three point landing. If he is lucky, he will have a nice fish for dinner.
We couldn't resist the temptation to exhibit a couple pictures of the Florida Panther in this Nature presentation. Above left is the Orange Panther, a rarity indeed.  To the right is a couple of lovers amusing themselves with a cuddle-up. These species of panther are on the endangered list.  A concerted effort is being made to save them from total extinction.

Kari Ann, the neice of a good friend, has a hobby of raising great danes in Norway. She sent a shot of Angela, a very young member of the household, as she practices as a devoted student in a motherhood class. Notice the kitty is not sleeping; one wonders why! See below to access loads of interesting pictures and details about Kari Ann.
