After an absence of a few years following their move to Oklahoma, Eddie Rollings, KE9O, and his comely, vivacious wife, Judy, returned to once again show up at a SMAH meeting on 20 July 2001. Both were previously regulars. Eddie and Judy plan on buying a house on the Space Coast and once again settling here. Places at the head of the foot of the table at SMAH will always be readily available for this fun-loving couple!
Here we have an authentic "Diesel Boat" submariner! Butch Holmes, W6FK, was "shot" at the SMAH on 27 July 2001. Formerly in the crew of the sub USS Sea Leopard, SS483, Butch has since retired from the Navy and is enjoying life here on the Space Coast.
Beverly is a wanna-be Ham and, with that goal in mind, she signed up for the Fall 2001 Amateur Radio Course. This fun-filled, exotic gal showed up for the very first time at the October 5th, '01 SMAH gathering. Hopefully, Beverly will visit us regularly from here on in. Welcome to the fold, dear friend!
Steve, N4UTQ, is smiling because he had just rewired his washing machine to run on the LINUX operating system. We wonder who is holding the Space Center together while he is out playing the social butterfly at the SMAH?
