The head of a truly outstanding Ham family is pictured here. Danny, KE4OZD, is joined by his wife, Lorna (KE4WJW), daughter, Harmony (KE4TKC), and son, Dave (KE4OWJ) as members of the IRARC. For several years Danny has been attending the SMAH luncheons as often as the situation permits. We are always pleased to see you there, Danny! (Our good friend was lassoed at SMAH 2/1/02).
As locals will surely note, this is Bill Brown, W4KMZ. He has been a local resident since the year one. Bill was a key employ at the Kennedy Space Center from the very earliest days (about 1952). Yes and he has been a dependable attendee at both the IRARC general meetings and, of course, the SMAH luncheons for what seems like an eternity. Always good to see you, Bill!
Here we have a nice shot of Carl Scheuplein, K4ARL, and good friend, Eric, who is an exchange student from Germany now living with Carl's son in Alabama. Eric, happened to be visiting Cocoa Beach on March 29th, '02. Carl and his wife Lisa, KD4WSH, are regulars at the SMAH. We heartily approve of that and wish to thank them for bringing the personable Eric along with them to the luncheon on the 29th!

Penny Bowen, W2SLD, is a regular at the head of the foot of the table. We took this shot mainly to show his "custom" IRARC shirt. Note the military epaulettes on the shoulders! Penny is a former Marine, as is Mac McMillan seen to the rear. Both gentlemen vociferously participate in numerous discussions with former Navy, Marine, Air Force and Army people as to the "value" of the various Services. Fortunately, all is in the interest of good, clean entertainment!
Our good friend and faithful attendee,Gene Sirota, W4JMX, has been the SMAH's competent and reliable Master of Ceremonies ever since Joe Rubino, WA4MMD, the originator of this social Amateur Radio entity, became a Silent Key several years ago.
More shots of beautiful people along with an ID and a little bio data coming as soon as we catch members unaware at our SMAH luncheons.
These pictures are taken with my
